Introduction

This Technology Policy ("Technology Policy") forms an integral part of the DealConverter Terms of Service and describes how certain technology features of DealConverter operate, including software performance expectations, call log synchronization and call recording retrieval.

By creating an account, activating any of the features described in this Technology Policy, or continuing to use DealConverter, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to this Technology Policy in addition to the DealConverter Terms of Service.

1. Software Performance and Accuracy Target

DealConverter is engineered and tested with the objective of delivering a high standard of reliability, and the Company targets an operational accuracy and uptime benchmark of approximately 99% across its core features, including data synchronization, call log capture and reporting functions.

This 99% figure is a best-effort performance target and internal engineering benchmark. It is not, and shall not be construed as, a guarantee, warranty or contractual commitment of error-free, uninterrupted or fault-free operation.

No software, including DealConverter, can be guaranteed to be completely free of errors, bugs, downtime or data discrepancies at all times. The Customer acknowledges that occasional errors, delays, sync failures or data mismatches may occur despite DealConverter's reasonable efforts to prevent them.

2. Call Log and Phone Permissions

DealConverter may request the following Android system permissions from the Customer's device, where applicable, to enable call tracking and reporting features: - Call Log permission (READ_CALL_LOG), used to read call history including caller/callee number, call type, timestamp and call duration; and - Phone permission (READ_PHONE_STATE), used to detect call status and identify the device's phone number/SIM information required for call tracking.

These permissions are used strictly to provide the call tracking, call logging and call recording retrieval features requested by the Customer, and are not used for any purpose beyond what is disclosed in the DealConverter Privacy Policy.

The Customer must grant these permissions through their device's operating system for the relevant features to function. If permissions are denied, revoked or restricted by the Customer or by the device's operating system, the affected features may not function or may function only partially.

3. Call Log Fetch Accuracy

DealConverter targets fetching and synchronizing approximately up to 99% of the call log entries available on the Customer's device through the Call Log permission described above.

This is a best-effort target and not a guarantee. Actual call log fetch completeness may vary and can be affected by factors including: - the device manufacturer and Android OS version; - battery-optimization, background-restriction or data-saver settings applied by the device or the manufacturer; - whether the Customer has granted and continues to keep the required permissions enabled; - network connectivity and app-sync frequency; - call logs deleted or cleared by the Customer or a third-party app before synchronization; and - other device-specific or manufacturer-specific restrictions outside DealConverter's reasonable control.

DealConverter does not guarantee that 100% of call log entries will be fetched, synced or displayed at all times.

4. Call Recording Retrieval

Where the Customer's device dialer application records calls and stores the resulting audio files in the device's shared/public storage (the general storage area accessible through the device's File Manager or Files app, rather than storage that is private and sandboxed to the dialer application itself), DealConverter may be able to detect and retrieve such recordings and associate them with the corresponding call log entry.

When retrieved, such recording files are typically identified and organized by the caller/callee's mobile number, consistent with the file-naming convention used by the source dialer application.

DealConverter targets retrieval of approximately up to 99% of eligible call recordings that are (a) actually created by the device's dialer application, and (b) stored in shared/public device storage accessible to other applications. This is a best-effort target and not a guarantee of complete or continuous retrieval.

5. Dependency on Device Dialer Behavior

Whether call recordings can be retrieved by DealConverter depends entirely on how the Customer's specific dialer application and device are configured to store recordings, which DealConverter does not control.

Call recording retrieval will generally NOT function where: - the device's dialer application does not record calls automatically or at all; - the dialer application stores recordings in app-private or sandboxed storage that is not accessible to other applications on the device; - call recording is disabled, restricted or unavailable on the device due to the manufacturer, region, carrier or Android version; or - the Customer has not granted the storage or file-access permissions required for DealConverter to read the relevant folder.

Call recording retrieval may function where the device's dialer application (which varies by manufacturer, such as certain Samsung, Xiaomi/MIUI, Vivo or other OEM dialer applications, depending on device, region and Android version) is configured to save recordings to shared/public device storage.

The Customer acknowledges that dialer behavior varies significantly between device manufacturers, Android versions, regions and even between two devices of the same model, and that such behavior may change at any time due to updates made by the device manufacturer or by Google, which are outside DealConverter's control.

6. Device, OS Version and Permission Dependency

The Customer acknowledges that the availability, accuracy and completeness of call log synchronization and call recording retrieval features depend on multiple factors outside DealConverter's control, including: - the Customer's device manufacturer and model; - the Android operating system version installed on the device; - manufacturer-specific customizations, restrictions or background-process limitations; - the storage location and file-naming behavior used by the Customer's dialer application; - whether the Customer has granted and maintained the required permissions; and - changes made by Google, the device manufacturer, or a third-party dialer application at any time.

DealConverter shall not be liable for variations, interruptions or incompleteness in these features that result from the above factors.

7. No Guarantee of Recording or Log Availability

DealConverter does not guarantee that: - every call made or received on the Customer's device will be recorded; - every recorded call will be stored in a location accessible to DealConverter; - every accessible recording will be successfully retrieved or displayed; - every call log entry will be captured, synced or displayed; or - retrieved recordings or logs will remain available indefinitely, as availability may also depend on the Customer's own device storage, deletion of files, or actions taken within the dialer application.

The Customer is responsible for maintaining adequate device storage and for not disabling permissions required for these features to operate.

9. No Liability for Third-Party or Device Changes

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DEALCONVERTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO: - changes made by Google, a device manufacturer, or a dialer application to how call recordings or call logs are stored or made accessible; - the Customer's device being unable to record calls or store recordings in shared storage; - permissions being revoked, restricted or not granted by the Customer or by the device operating system; - variations in call log or recording completeness across different devices; or - any other third-party or device-level factor outside DealConverter's reasonable control.

10. Changes to Technology and This Policy

DealConverter may modify, update or discontinue any technology feature described in this Technology Policy at any time, including in response to changes made by Google, device manufacturers, or applicable law.

DealConverter may also update this Technology Policy from time to time. Continued use of DealConverter after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Technology Policy.

11. Conflict with Other Terms

This Technology Policy shall be read together with the DealConverter Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

In the event of a conflict relating specifically to the technology features described in this Technology Policy, this Technology Policy shall govern to the extent of that specific conflict.

Nothing in this Technology Policy shall be interpreted as excluding or limiting any liability or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Technology Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to this Technology Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of Rytzu SaaS Technologies Private Limited, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
